The weather on the Trail has been all over the place.  Some days we have been able to play outside and some days we have stayed in under cozy blankets.  This weekend I am attending the THRIVE conference at our church (I am so excited) and Kevin is being husband-of-the-year and caring for the kids while I'm away.  I am looking forward to some girl time with some of my favorite girls, all while hearing from some great speakers and having some wonderful worship time.

Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

This girl loves to read on the couch.  She may have seen her brother do this a time or two.

Luke and I decorated the Easter egg tree last week.

The weather was so nice last weekend, we spent as much time outside as possible.

These two.

She always picks out this flower crown to wear.

Cars..........

..........and clothes

She loves books.

Both Luke and Lily enjoy music...so much.

Luke was shouting at me from inside this closet door.

These guys were 'working' together with all of my office work trash.  Luke kept on talking about sending things from 'Utah, California, and Colorado'.  Hmmmmm.

Another week has come and gone.  We spent a lot of time at home this week, which was splendid.  I forget how therapeutic it is to stay home and read and bake and cook and love my babies.  Here is what we were up to this week...

We had so much fun celebrating Valentine's Day.

My amazing friend, Kayla, made a trip to town from Sioux City.  We met up with our other amazing friend, Jill, for a fun girl's day.  Somehow, we didn't get a picture of all of us. So typical.

We are making it an annual thing to go to Winchell's for donuts on Valentine's Day.  Lily got a new bracelet for the big day.

Luke was much more excited about donuts this year than last year.

The best part of the day was Luke passing out flowers to his friends at church. So so cute.

My Valentine

The weather was beautiful this week and we made it outside as often as possible.

Without prompting, Luke said, "Momma, come look! I spelled my name."  Such a sweetie pie.

Luke and Lily received valentines from his cousins and he was SO EXCITED.

More time outside.

We have had some work done on our house lately and the kids awkwardly watch...

Our first zoo day of the year...so fun to be out and about!

She was waving to everyone.

Luke got a new haircut the morning we went to the zoo.  He is so dapper. And his friend, Claire, is the cutest.

It is a quiet day on the Trail.  Well, quiet now that the babies are napping.  It has been a whirlwind of a month and I can't believe it's almost Valentine's Day.  We have kept busy these winter days.  Here is what we have been up to lately...

Just a typical day in Luke's little life.

The cutest Chewbacca I have ever seen.

Luke isn't too sure about Lily riding his tractor.

Visiting Baby Eisley Paige and her sweet Momma

Claire and Luke are in a band.

This girl

My main little man.

Our adult only getaway to Providenciales.  We did lots and lots of reading.

Kevin paddle boarding...we both tried it and I was a bigger fan than  he was.

View from where I had a massage on our trip.  So so pretty.

We love a good sunset.

Coming home to this girl and her brother was the best.

They were excited to see their Daddy.

After losing our camera on vacation, I received our new one and am in love!

Cooking Club night is one of my favorite nights of the month.  Love my girls!

They didn't leave the window while this guy was working on the house.  Not awkward at all...

Homemade pop tarts...so yummy! Luke was in charge of the sprinkles.

She loves her books like her brother.

He was so excited about these.
