Happy Friday, all! This weekend we have no plans. It is going to be heavenly. Hope you all have a blessed weekend!
My brother's family was here for a few days and we spent a little bit of time at the Quarry.
I got to spend some extra time with this gem.
These two headed to the zoo with us and we had a fun day.
An awesome Sunday last weekend...we have been trying really hard to observe the Sabbath and make it a family day.
This girl...so innocent.
Checking out Daddy's new office. She actually has a bit of room to move around...yay!
We have two caterpillars right now. They recently spun cocoons and we are patiently waiting for them to emerge as butterflies!
Love this babe.
A little fun at the Children's Hospital after Lily's eye appointment.
Last week was so. much. fun. Kevin's sister and her two babes were in town for the week and John joined them on Thursday. We hit up the zoo, the Children's Museum, took some cousin pictures, and even celebrated Miss Kathryn's second birthday. It was such an awesome week and reminded me why God gave us family. Kevin and I are blessed with families that spend time together and love one another. I can't wait until another week with these people!
This is what happens when you try to get four kids under three to take a picture...
Grandma and Grandpa sure help to get a good shot.
Hillary and Baby David...those overalls!!
I love this one!

Uncle Kevin/Daddy is the best. (I might be bias.)
A week and a half back, Kevin and I packed the kids up and headed to the Iowa State Fair for the day. I absolutely LOVE the fair (mostly for the food) and Kevin appeases me every year and takes me. He is a good husband.
This year was all about Luke and what he wanted to see and do. We spent a lot of time at the John Deere display, as well as the car show. We also went to see Cy and Herky, so Kevin and I could get pictures with our teams. The picture of the kids and I with Herky is on Kevin's phone and I am wondering if I am ever going to get it...
Kevin was able to check out the Iowa craft beer tent, which was a hit. We ate some yummy food (a gyro, turkey leg, ice cream) and then headed home at nap time. As fun as it is, four hours at the fair with two kids is plenty.
Here are some pictures from our fun day...
