Sweet Corn Harvest

This past weekend we spent picking, husking, cooking, cutting, and bagging sweet corn.  It was the perfect Saturday to take on this job and it was fun to have both Kevin's parents and some of my family all together.  We 'put up' (that means froze) around 120 pints of corn and around 20 quarts and still had lots of corn left over.  It was definitely a good year for sweet corn!  Here is a recap of our weekend.

It's hard not to take a selfie with this girl.  I may be a little bias.

All smiles with Grandma.

The best part for Luke...playing on the four wheeler.

I didn't get many pictures during corn time, as we were all so busy!

Luke LOVED having Landon around to push down the slide.

It was so nice to have all these people around the table.

A little relaxing after corn at the Quarry.
